Richard has a BA in Musicology from Australian National University/Canberra School of Music and a Diploma of Education from the University of Canberra. Richard has taught Music in both Secondary and Primary schools since 1999 when he moved to the UK. Richard has composed, directed and produced numerous musical theatre productions and performs regulary with various musical theatre and vocal groups.
